On behalf of the staff, I want to welcome you to the Cabarrus Arena & Event Center Website.  We hope that you will find these pages to be informative and useful whether you are attending and event or choosing to host an event here at our facility.

The Arena & Event Center complex hosts several hundred events each year and there is sure to be something that you and your family will enjoy.  Our flexible, multi-purpose facilities provide the perfect platform to host anything from a business meeting or elegant dinner party for twenty guests to convention / trade show space accommodating up to 150,000 square feet of display to popular concerts hosted by national touring acts (and just about everything in between).

SMG and Cabarrus County have worked hard to create a diverse mix of events that cater to local, regional and national groups.  With the Cabarrus County Fair leading the way as our flagship event, the complex will host everything from weddings to Willie Nelson, from Alpaca’s to AKC Canines, from graduations to proms, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Our entire staff is actively promoting local sustainability through a series of operational practices and you can read about those practices on our website as well.  We are collecting rainwater to water our herb and vegetable garden, committed to purchase at least 10% of our food that is grown locally, composting and recycling.
