| Thank you for your interest in working at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. I wanted to give you an idea of the type of work we have at Cabarrus Arena. Our business is seasonal and labor needs vary widely from week to week and event to event. For this reason, all of our positions are “as needed” and we cannot offer employees consistent schedules or a guaranteed number of hours per week. Most employees work less than twenty hours per month. |
| We are currently accepting applications for event-day staff. Event-day staff includes parking attendants, custodians, concessions workers, banquet servers, ushers, and ticket sellers. These positions generally require night and weekend work September through November and January through May. Work is rarely available June through August. The starting pay rate for all event-day positions is $7.50/hour. We will make hiring decisions in mid-August with starting employment dates the second week of September. |
| I ask that you please come by the Arena business office to complete a job application. Cabarrus Arena is required to complete background checks for anyone offered employment and credit checks on anyone hired as a ticket seller. We may ask you to complete consent forms for these checks if you are offered a job. |
